Being possessed by a murdered child and being locked in a forgotten room, for some, would be the worst thing that could happen to a person. But for Shadow Freddy, this event would allow the two things he had wanted his entire life: freedom, (he could do whatever he want in a room even employees didn't get to see), and sophistication, (his suit being possessed by quite an intelligent child). However, that is only two of the three things he wanted most. The final item that would make his life complete is having company in the long-forgotten safe room. At first Shadow Freddy attempted to murder the guard which was monitoring the establishment one night, and transfer his soul into a spare suit. While yes, Shadow Freddy did manage to transfer a guard's soul into a spare suit, he failed to have the possessed suit become his companion, because, in your after-life, why would you want to become friends with the killer who murdered you?
After this failed, Shadow Freddy attempted to find an endoskeleton to become friends with, and of course, this would be simple. All he had to do was program an endoskeleton to be friendly towards him, yes! Shadow Freddy stole an endoskeleton from the parts and service room, and began to program it to do just what it wanted. This actually was a success... but only for one night, because the following day, when technicians reviewed programming of all endoskeletons to confirm nothing was wrong, they discovered that the endoskeleton which Shadow Freddy stole was all messed up. Once Fazbear Entertainment was informed that this had occurred, a very complicated pass code to edit the programming of an endoskeleton was incorporated. So much for that plan.
After two consecutive failures, Shadow Freddy decided to simply give up, and be thankful for what he had, freedom and sophistication. Shadow Freddy was without a friend for quite some time, until he awoke one night, and he heard glass breaking, liquid spilling, not to far from the pizzeria. He decided to leave the safe room and teleport outside, to find where the sounds were coming from. Shadow Freddy eventually found a laboratory being vandalized by a group of teenagers. He quickly screamed, causing the teenagers to flee. After the teenagers had fled, Shadow Freddy began to scavenge through the ruble of the laboratory. All of the mixtures had been thrown on the ground rendering them useless.. with the exception of one.
A red, thick, mixture, labeled, "EXPERIMENT 419: CARNAGE. Will be finished growing in two weeks. Will befriend the first thing it sees, which will most likely be it's creator."....
Carnage is a gruesome, red, creature, purely made of red flesh. Carnage does not actually have any sort of superhuman strength, or speed. It's power comes from the red flesh which covers it's body. Carnage's flesh can extend itself, or transform into anything it wishes, a saw, a hammer, anything. Carnage's main use of it's flesh is for feeding- a gruesome process involving Carnage transforming it's flesh into multiple tentacles to wrap around it's victims joints, to drain them of their nutrients. When Carnage manages to fully drain it's victim, all that is left is a dry hunk of skin. If the victim manages to escape Carnage's tentacles, which does not happen often, the victim usually collapses because of exhaustion, for a few minutes. If a something wishes to appose Carnage, physical combat is futile, Carnage will use it's flesh to absorb your punch. The only way to cause damage to Carnage is by intense heat- any sort of heat. Covering Carnage in kerosene will work, lighting Carnage on fire will work, putting Carnage in an extremely hot room, will work.
- Yes, it is quite obvious, Carnage is clearly heavily based on the character Carnage from The Amazing Spider-Man.
- Carnage first appeared in a roleplay. At the time, Carnage was intended to be a minor character to act as an antagonist to Ylievere and Zaapiel.
