Five Nights at Freddy's is a videogame series for the PlayStation made by Cawthon Games. It is characterized for is action/stealth gameplay and the use of light sources as a weapon.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay involves walking inside a pizzeria and complete some mission, like taking some objects or check an area. Unfortunately, the animatronics enters in "free-roaming mode" and won't recognize the player as a human, but as an endoskeleton that need a suit. Because of this they try to kill him and stuff the player inside a spare suit. The only way to stop them is to light them with the torch, making they stop. The player can use it for a limited number of time, because if the player abuse of it, the battery of the torch dies and cannot be refined, leaving the player vulnerable of the enemies. In the sequel a Freddy mask can be wear. This mask didn't allow the animatronic to kill the player, but Foxy and the Puppet can be fooled by that. Also, it doesn't allow to use the flashlight. During the day the player can buy some upgrades, like a portable radio that can be putted down to attract enemies or an extra battery for the flashlight. Five Nights at Freddy's 3 take off the torch and replace it with a personal digital assistant that give you some new features, like a camera or the options to lure enemies away with a sound file. Also it have some games that you have to complete if you want to unlock the real ending.
