Freddy Fazbear, also known as Freddy, is the main antagonist of both Five Nights at Freddy's and Five Nights at Freddy's 2. He's the primary singer within the Fazbear Band, and is left to roam the halls of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria inbetween 12AM and 6AM so his, along with other animatronics, servos don't lock up.
History
Freddy Fazbear was made as the first animatronics after the Fazbear Entertainment name bought the company. He was put down, along with Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, as the first animatronics within the first pizzeria of Freddy Fazbear's. He, along with Bonnie and Chica, entertained children during the day, and roamed the halls of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria at night. However, after a murder struck the location, the place was forced to shut down, and Freddy and his friends were replaced with safer toy models. During this era, the old animatronics, including Freddy, were given some systems similar to the toy animatronics. This made the animatronics roam during the night, and attack the night guard.
When the toy animatronics were scrapped, Freddy and the gang were back on their feet in the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. While they were restricted to walk around during the day, due to the Bite of '87, they roamed during the night so their servos don't lock-up. After many more incidents, the place was shut down. One stormy night, the building was in bad shape, and the Purple Man destroyed Freddy's suit and endoskeleton as self-defense. However, this let the soul of a child he had murdered free, and allowed it, along with the other ghosts, to attack the Purple Guy, putting him into the Springtrap suit.
While Freddy was mostly destroied, parts of his suit were put into Fazbear's Fright as a decoration. After it burnt down, however, the objects, along with Freddy's suit, were sold. These sold parts were used in the new Fazbear Fright.

Freddy Fazbear is a very intelligent animatronic, even having some knowledge of Fredbear's Family Diner. He moderatly treats everyone the same, but has a bit of hatred for Toy Freddy. He knows his goals, and he knows what to expect. He keeps everyone on track.
Freddy is friends of Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. With all the other toy animatronics, he simply treats them like a regular patron from Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. The same can be said about the other animatronics not mentioned.
